Red Bull x Max Cooper
360-Degree Live-Stream EventRed Bull Music commissioned our team to create a unique, ambitious project during the global COVID-19 lockdown: a 360-degree live-streamed performance of Max Cooper’s audio-visual album, filmed inside the iconic Carlisle Memorial Church in Belfast. This one-of-a-kind event also included a panel discussion, produced in partnership with AVA Festival and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
Historic Carlisle Memorial Church Transformed for Electronic Music
We oversaw every aspect of production, from securing Belfast’s historic 145-year-old neo-Gothic Carlisle Church. This venue had never hosted an electronic music performance, from talent coordination to technical design and delivery. COVID restrictions required careful planning and innovation. The church was transformed using large-scale architectural projections, strobe lighting, and a semi-transparent screen, allowing Max Cooper to present immersive visuals and layered audio experiences that brought the venue to life.
Audience Engagement
The live broadcast was delivered via YouTube, supported by a targeted social media campaign across Red Bull, Max Cooper, and AVA Festival platforms. The event drew over 123000 live viewers and more than 170 interactive chats. We managed the budget, resources, and created infrastructure to support future hybrid digital event models.
Post-Event Content and Reporting
Following the event, we provided post-event content and detailed reporting, highlighting the creative and logistical achievements involved in producing a broadcast of this scale under lockdown conditions. Max Cooper’s performance was a memorable homecoming in Belfast, showcasing the possibilities that arise when creativity and technical expertise come together, even under challenging circumstances.
